We are writing to you on behalf on Burnt Ash Primary School.We are Year 4, coming up to Year 5 in September. We want to tell you about what we do differently in our school.We have only got about three weeks left before our holiday! We have 28 pupils in our class. We are wondering about how many pupils you have and how old you are?
We want to tell you somethings about our school. Every friday we have an activity called Golden Time. It is an activity where you are allowed to choose from a range of activities such as: decorating biscuits, watching DVD:s, ICT (working on computers), playground games, jewellery making, free choice (bring the toys and games you want), pizza making.You have to earn 20 golden points during the week by following the golden rules.
We follow almost the same timetable structure every day except from Friday. We always have Literacy and Maths in the morning and different subjects in the afternoon.School uniforms are clothing we wear for school. Our uniform is brown and yellow and black shoes. Girls wear skirts, summer dresses, pinafore dresses or trousers. Boys wear trousers, shorts, shirt and jumper.We think it is safe when we go for school trips that everyone is wearing the same. On the jumper we have the Burnt Ash logo.
Now we would like to ask you a few questions. How many days do you go to school in one year? When does your summer holiday end? Do you have any weeks off during the year? Do you have inset day?
